ArbEquip Arborist Personal Bleed Control Kit

Specially designed as a first-response first-aid kit for Arborists, Forestry workers and anybody else working with outdoor power equipment. Designed in conjunction with ex-military paramedics, Arborists and medical manufacturers, this kit is simple, compact and equipped with the essential items to save a life in the event of a severe haemorrhage or trauma wound.

The biggest challenge in the event of an accident where a severe trauma wound has occurred is to get medical treatment as quickly as possible.  There is only 3 minutes to treat or stop severe bleeding before a life is lost and this kit enables the user to have all the essential items right there and accessible instantly, and even with only one hand if the other is incapacitated.  In the case of the user being in a tree or in an isolated place away from other help, it is absolutely essential that you can stop the bleeding before calling for extra assistance.

The MOLLE First-Aid utility pouch is able to be attached to a belt, harness, backpack, tactical vest and any other MOLLE compatible device.  Equipped with the MOLLE system, tough nylon straps and strong copper buckles, and a quick pull tab for quick access to the essentials within the pouch under emergency situations. The medical pouch has two-way zippers and silent cord pulls, fully opened for accessing the first aid supplies easily once emergencies happen. The front pouch is designed to store the tourniquet for fast and easy access. 

With one-handed access to the pouch in mind, we have also made sure that the medical supplies are also able to be use one-handed if need be. 

• The RapidStop® Tourniquet with its unique ratchet tightening system ensures that the bleeding is stopped far quicker than the older conventional wind-up style tourniquets, and it allows for super-fast self-application.
• The Swiss made Hartmann Trauma bandage is designed with a double-sided closure bar to ensure that if self-application is required then a firm wrap of the bandage can be obtained without loosening or slippage.
• The kit also contains universal shears to remove all types of clothing including chainsaw clothing, nitrile gloves, a permanent marker and a safety whistle to attract attention.

The pouch has extra space to add other medical items such as plasters, general bandages etc, however what is supplied in this kit is the absolute essential for a serious trauma injury.
