Auckland City Council carried out the re-development of St Patricks Square in central Auckland in early 2009.
Arborgreen Root Cells were placed around eleven new trees in this project as they were planted in paved areas. There was an important need for ventilation and favourable growing zones for the trees’ root systems beneath the ground while also protecting the paved areas and services around the trees.
St Patricks Square is a popular ‘Greenzone’ for the Auckland CBD.
