Vesco's latest addition is the Telescopic Pole Pruning Saw with 39cm curved blade. The telescopic pole extends from 2m out to 4m allowing feet to stay firmly on the ground whilst pruning at height.
The VESCO CA39 is a professional telescopic pole saw designed for efficient pruning of large branches in orchards, gardens and tree-care applications.
Its 39cm (15-inch) curved blade is manufactured from special steel with an extra-hard chrome coating for durability and reduced cutting resistance. Featuring a 650mm blade radius, 1.3mm thickness and coarse 6.5 teeth per 30mm pitch, the three-sided teeth cut on the pull stroke to produce fast, clean and smooth results with minimal splintering. A billhook at the blade tip is useful for cutting smaller branches.
The premium connector is hot-forged from aircraft-grade aluminium and CNC-machined from solid billet. It allows the blade to be positioned at two different angles and can also be held and used as a traditional hand saw without the pole. Two convenient aluminium knobs provide quick blade attachment and removal.
For added versatility, the optional VESCO CA-R5 removable hook can score the bark beneath a branch before the final cut, helping prevent tearing as the branch drops. A universal 25mm circular connector is also available for attaching other compatible saws and tools.
The lightweight, rigid 2.2 - 4.0m pole features a strong ovo-trapezoidal profile, a wide non-slip grip and a secure snap-lock telescopic system. It can be adjusted to multiple working lengths and remains firmly locked during demanding pruning jobs.
