The DMM "Shadow" is a high performance, lightweight triple locking carabiner suitable for a wide range of uses, from traditional climbing right through to winter climbing. Think of it as a bigger version of the Phantom. The "Shadow" gives plenty of security reserves whilst feeling featherweight on a harness or in a bag. The extra gate opening and larger size make it easier to use if you are wearing gloves. And despite these advantages it still hangs lightly on your rack.
